The center is the only center not only in Uzbekistan, but also in Central Asia, capable of solving complex problems in the field of pediatric orthopedics.
The Republican Center for Pediatric Orthopedics provides advisory, diagnostic and therapeutic assistance to patients (children and adolescents) with congenital and acquired diseases and the consequences of injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
The center has 175 beds for children with diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system and has 5 specialized surgical departments, an operating unit with an anesthesiology and intensive care unit, laboratory units, related and auxiliary services. Every year, the center performs about 1,500 operations, most of which are high-tech, expensive types of medical care, in addition to surgical interventions, you can get advice and recommendations.
The center employs 37 doctors, including 1 doctor of medical sciences, 5 candidates of medical sciences, 26 doctors of the highest categories, 5 doctors of the first category, 2 doctors of the second category. Every year, the Center's staff publish more than 20 scientific articles in domestic and foreign peer-reviewed journals, actively participate in conferences on traumatology and orthopedics with international participation, held in Uzbekistan and abroad, which ensures a high rating of our institution in the professional community.
